Synthesis and Characterization of Silver Nanoparticle-Polydimethylsiloxane (Ag-NP-PDMS) Stretchable Conductive Nanocomposites

A number of different research methodologies have been developed to increase the conductivity and mechanical properties stretchable or flexible conductors. One promising techniques recommended for applying metallic nanoparticles (NPs) PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) substrate is develop a thin-film that gives possible good strain. This article discusses preparation silver using chemical reduction method with nitrate as precursor, uses glucose reducing agent. In addition, polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) used prevent nanoparticles’ oxidation agglomeration once they synthesized successfully. Moreover, we utilize power diethylamine accelerate evolution nanoparticles, deionized water any contamination. The prepared Ag-NPs are then deposited on solidified through sintering. multimeter measure electrical resistance. confirmed by UV-Vis at 400-nm peak.
